Portable Machine Tools > Flange Facer
The Hofmann Flange Facer is a precision machine tool designed to face flanges in-situ within the range of 160mm dia. to 500mm dia.
Using a unique clamping method, the machine can be mounted over the flange to be machined with ease, and by one person.
ADJUSTABLE FEED RATE
The facing head is fitted with an adjustable feed rate giving feed of 0.1mm/rev to 0.7mm/rev, thus allowing finishes from fine through to gramophone.
VIBRATION FREE CUTTING
A cast aluminium face plate combined with sturdy support legs along with the spindle mounted on Timken Taper Bearings, give the machine the rigidity required for vibration free cutting.
Power for the machine is provided by the standard Hofmann Hydraulic Power Pack, as used on the Hofmann Portable Line Boring Machine.
