Project Manager – Onsite Services

Due to dynamic advancement which leads to continued growth we are looking for a Project Manager for our Onsite Services Department.

The Role:

You will be working in all aspects of planning, execution and finalisation of onsite projects/jobs according to deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of other team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. A Project Manager will define the project’s production methods, objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle, along with being the person to:

• Direct and manage project development from the initial onsite enquiry to organising the site crew to carry out the work, through to job closing.


• Define for the project scope for the site crew, along with coordinating the tooling & equipment required.


• Keep track of all project costs relating to the site job inclusive of labour bookings and material transactions.


• Clearly describe the process requirements in written form.


• Manage the customers’ expectations, knowing that many onsite service jobs are carried out on a breakdown basis.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• To be a trade qualified Fitter / Machinist or Fabricator or have a College diploma or University degree.


• 3 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution or have worked on site crews for a similar time and have excellent computer and written communication skills.


• ERP Database and operating systems experience.


• A full understanding of mine site shutdown requirements inclusive of those pertaining to safety.


• A Full Understanding of Machining & Fabrication Methods.
