Mechanical Fitter – Onsite Services

Due to dynamic advancement which leads to continued growth we are looking for Mechanical Fitters for our Onsite Services Department.

The Role:

This is a hands on role that requires you to be a motivated team player with above average mechanical fitting ability. You will mainly be working on mine sites throughout Australia, with a number of overseas assignments coming up from time to time. The duration of most mine site jobs is 7 to 14 days and when you are not onsite you will be working in our Onsite Services workshop in Bassendean. With Hofmann Engineering being a specialist in Fixed plant equipment , you will required to work on mill gearing, gearboxes, pinion assemblies and other similar products.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• To be a trade qualified Fitter / Machinist.


• A minimum of 2 years experience working on Fixed plant equipment either in a workshop or onsite environment.
• The ability to work as a member of a team in remote locations.


• A full understanding of mine site shutdown requirements inclusive of those pertaining to safety.


• Flexible and customer focused in regards to availability to travel.
